The summer warmth has gone away. The crisp fall is upon us, and it is time to bring out the jackets once again.  A fresh new gardening season is before us. This fall season gives us the idea of the wonders and anticipation of what might we see pop up through the snow come spring.

This fall, you could the lucky winner of a $1000 gift card or become of 1 of 10 who will win a $100 gift card to spend at your nearest participating garden centre. Just purchase one of the specially marked packages shown below, then enter your alphanumeric contest code and details at for your chance to have your entry placed into the draw!

Large Flowering Mix

This lovely variety of crocus are one of the first spring flowers to poke their heads out of the cold, winter soil to welcome the spring season. A mix of purple, white and yellow, it makes for a beautiful bounty of vibrant colours for your garden. Great for naturalizing, these delicate yet hardy flowers bloom to 10 cm (4”). 40 bulbs/pkg.

King Alfred Type

King Alfred Type is a garden staple which is tried, tested and true. This bold yellow narcissus is great for naturalizing and is also deer resistant. This popular choice year after year is a classic yellow trumpet narcissus. Choose a full to part sun location in your garden border or plant the bulbs in containers. King Alfred Type is mid-spring flowering and grows to 35 cm (14”). 20 bulbs/pkg.

Rainbow Mix

The Tulip Rainbow Mix offers a wide range of colours so your favorite is sure to be included. Plant them this fall and wait for them to bloom in mid spring. The beautiful variety of colours is eye-catching in the garden. Standing tall at 60 cm (24”) these tulips are perfect for cut flowers, mixed borders and containers. Tulips enjoy full to part sun. 20 bulbs per package.

Purple Sensation

These round, purple and soft Allium blooms are a delightful addition to any garden. They are a welcome accent to your standard tulip and daffodil varieties. They are both deer resistant and fragrant. Growing tall to 90 cm (36”) these flowers are perfect for cut flower arrangements and late spring garden focal points. 10 bulbs/pkg.

    I have no idea how to enter – But would love to win too so I can continue a garden of memory for my beloved family slaughtered in The Viet-Nam War me being the sole survivor this the last one that holds the DNA of my Dynasty & now one by one my beloved adopted family are going too & have last yr begun a garden to help me with my traumas …. which is helping me heal in some areas & close loving friend has been creating plant troughs to see me smile & not hide so much & not be a hermit!

    I have been given free plants last year that Canadian Superstore gave kindly to the public & the one who made plants & trees – for us to eat & find solace in our grief & even our joys.

    Some day I would love to create a garden for folks to visit & find healing & comfort shy smile a dream that I am surprised I am sharing.

    It’s been a long & arduous journey to live !

    I am thankful to the one who made us – for the beauty of our world when its not hating or having wars!

    Blessings & have fun who ever wins … but even better even if we don’t win …. enjoy the plants & trees the life it gives us the air in which we breathe I thank them for giving us air & the blessings they so give us through out our lives bringing even the company of pollinators when one is too much in sorow to trust hiuman helps us live again xoxo
